lemme introduce yall to my mimiga oc, usagi!
she’s…. i don’t actually know how mimiga ages work, but she’s about the mimiga equivalent of 19….ish….
was a lil bab when the whole war thing happened - doesn’t remember much of it, just that it was Bad
incredibly tragic backstory because i can; her mother ate a red flower to protect her from a bunch of killer robots, and she had a front seat view to all of this from under a conveniently placed rock shelf. so she remembers what the robots did, she remembers what the red flowers do, and she remembers that humans are to blame.
was raised by her dad, looks up to him. both are, for mimiga, pretty good fighters. she likes to kick stuff, and is pretty dang good at it. dad tries to fight back when their village was invaded, gets killed. usagi was, at the time, exploring grasstown and is still sorta in denial about it.
since i hc there’s gotta be more then one mimiga settlement, she comes from a village hidden near sand zone - they originally lived in sand zone itself, but were forced to flee due to the robot invasion, the colons were left behind because of that.
surprisingly her personality is not Edgy, she’s upbeat, intense, and totally in-your-face. very energetic and gets easily excited about things, good at impromptu plans and general survival stuff. very headstrong, but stubborn, and refuses to trust or cooperate with anyone that’s not a mimiga. she will not change her views. tends to repeat words when she gets excited or fired up for emphasis, uses a lot of contractions and shortens her words. bad things don’t tend to bother her, unless it’s got to do with people close to her, in which case she’ll refuse to accept it and either a) get really mad or b) get really sad. either way, denial.
when the doctor came along, she refused to believe him from the get-go and spent the entirety of the story trying to escape from the plantation repeatedly.
holds the shovel brigade in contempt for believing and working with the doctor, especially since some of them ruined her various escape attempts by snitching.
