PCIe to USB 3.0 adapter is PCIe x 1 card with 2 external and 2 internal USB 3.0 ports (all of them are back compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1). Question: The connected device disconnects or does not work correctly.
Answer: Make sure that the MOLEX connector of your PC’s power supply is connected into the PCIe card power connector.
Question: Why does the USB device disconnect or not work correctly or some devices are not detected?
