This Alfa Romeo 8C got away, but there are more like it here.

This 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is said to be the only example finished in Grigio Nuvolari among 500 coupes built between 2008 and 2010, and it is one of approximately 90 examples designated for the US market. The car was delivered new to Maserati San Francisco, and has been registered in California, Illinois, and Arizona. It now has 5k miles. Power is provided by a 4.7-liter F136 V8 mated to a six-speed semi-automatic transaxle with a limited-slip differential, and equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, refinished 20″ five-loop wheels, carbon-fiber sport seats in red leather, a Becker CD stereo, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control. This 8C was purchased by the current owner in 2021 and is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, service records, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Arizona title.

2008 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione

The 8C Competizione was introduced at the 2006 Paris Motor Show and revived the 8C name originally used for Alfa Romeo’s eight-cylinder racing cars of the 1930s. Styling cues from the company’s post-war sporting cars can be seen in the carbon-fiber body panels, which are supported by a steel space frame. Of the 500 Competizione examples built, approximately 90 were designated for the US, marking the nameplate’s return to the market after a 13-year absence.

Stopping power is provided by Alfa Romeo-branded Brembo calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The wheels were refinished in 2021, and the brake fluid was flushed in 2023.
