This 1997 Mitsubishi Pajero Junior is a right-hand-drive SUV that was imported from Japan to the US in 2022 and was acquired by the seller later that year. The truck is finished in Seattle Silver Metallic with Sudan Beige Metallic cladding over gray cloth and is powered by a 1.1-liter inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes 15″ wheels, a roof rack, a rear spoiler, a spare tire carrier, mudflaps, window visors, air conditioning, power windows, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. This Pajero Junior is now offered with a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Seattle Silver Metallic (A71) with Sudan Beige Metallic (S74) bumpers, wheel arch flares, and lower body cladding. Additional exterior features include a passenger-side fender mirror, window visors, mudflaps, a rear spoiler, a roof rack, and supplemental driving lights. Blemishes include peeling chrome on the front bumper, aged rear window trim, separation of the front left lower cladding, and damage to the right lower door cladding.
The 15″ six-spoke alloy wheels are wrapped with 205/70 Bridgestone Nextry tires, and a spare with a cover is mounted to the rear carrier. Braking is handled by anti-lock front discs and rear drums.
The right-hand-drive cabin features front bucket seats and a split-folding rear bench upholstered in gray cloth. A compass, an altimeter, a digital clock, and a temperature gauge are mounted to the center stack, and additional amenities include air conditioning, power windows, pop-out cupholders, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-km/h speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 89k kilometers (~55k miles).
The 16-valve 1.1-liter 4A31 inline-four was rated at 77 horsepower and 76 lb-ft of torque when new. The oil and coolant were changed in preparation for the sale along with the battery.
Power is delivered to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller notes a rattle from underneath the truck when driving.
