This GMC Jimmy (1973-1991) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1977 GMC Jimmy High Sierra is powered by a 350ci V8 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is finished in Light Green Metallic with white Deluxe Two-Tone over multicolored cloth upholstery, and it is equipped with 15″ steel wheels with full covers as well as chrome bumpers, a removable fiberglass hardtop, faux wood trim, a center console, and an AM radio. The truck was first delivered to White Machine & Motor Company in Goodland, Kansas, and it was acquired by the seller in 2021. Subsequent work included reupholstering the driver seat bottom, replacing fluids and the shock absorbers, and performing an alignment. This Jimmy is now offered in Colorado with an owner’s manual and a clean Montana title in name of the seller’s LLC.

The truck is finished in Light Green Metallic with white Deluxe Two-Tone, and the rocker panels and wheel arches are said to have been repaired and repainted under prior ownership. Exterior details include chrome bumpers, a removable fiberglass hardtop, rear window vents, High Sierra badging, and a locking gas cap. The front windshield molding is discolored, the finish on the rear trim is peeling, and the seller notes rust is present on the door seams and on the inside seam of the tailgate.

Steel 15″ wheels wear full covers and are mounted with 31×10.5″ Dextero All-Terrain DAT1 tires. KYB shock absorbers were installed after the seller acquired the truck, and braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.

The cabin features front low-back bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in cloth upholstery. The driver seat bottom is said to have been reupholstered under current ownership, and appointments include faux wood trim, rubberized floor mats, a heater, a center console, and an AM radio. The headliner is loose, and the cruise control and air conditioner are not working.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, and supplementary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 59k miles, approximately 1k of which were added by the seller.

The carbureted 350ci V8 was factory rated at 165 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. The drive belt for the air-conditioning compressor is removed. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Rust is present on underside components, and additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery below. The transmission fluid was flush in preparation for the sale.

A copy of the build sheet shows initial delivery to White Machine & Motor Co. in Goodland, Kansas, as well as colors, equipment, and a total of $7,186.
