Nototropis falcatus

….is a species of Gammarid amphipod that occurs in waters from northern Norway to the west coast of Ireland, including the North Sea. It is also known to occur as far south as the southern Bay of Biscay. N. falcatus is typically whitish in color and can grow to a length of around 7 millimeters (0.28 in). It typically inhabits fine sand at depths of 10-50 meters (33-164 ft) where it likely grazes on a variety of plant matter and detritus.
