You must type the Serial Number manually. There's a serial number in the readme

I'm not getting access using the serial number below. Tried cut and paste, tying in with and without hyphens, No joy. Any suggestions?

A tip: You don't need a new monitor can just use your existing one, change your screen resolution to 800x600 or whatever in display settings and you're good to go.

The Sims Complete Collection is my childhood so was Windows XP I downloaded as is and it worked after installation with minor tweaking around with the folder. I tried putting the cracked software within the file where the original application was. Reader be warned DON'T put the Maxis folder into the Program(x86) folder put it on your desktop or you won't be able to drag and drop the file into your sims folder. After you do that THEN you can copy and paste the Maxis folder into that directory. For some reason you can't just drag and drop files into Program Files (x86) as you notice drag the file out of that directory onto the desktop FIRST then it would launch the game. I got it working all I need to do is some how render the Window to match the resolution and I'm thing about ditching my big monitor for a small one that will fit the screen size.

But saving doesn't seem to be working. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I can play the game, visit everything, all the features work, though when I exit I get an error message saying the game could not be saved.

An earlier review mentioned how The Sims Creator won't run without a disc in the drive. I was thinking that mounting an ISO of disc 1 might solve that problem, but I don't know if it needs the specific copy of TSD/TSDD/TSCC that it came with, or if any old disc 1 would do (since disc 1 is where SECDRV is, I imagine it's tied to its particular copy of the set).

I have installed the game through setup.exe as instructed but when I drag the sims.exe crack into the directory folder to try and replace that sims.exe I get a pop up saying "Access Denied: Please login with administator priviledges and try again" (I am logged in as administator) Do you have any idea how to get around this? Please read the description in the upload before writing about tech issues you might have encountered while trying to play this, to summarize, it is a compiled version of Sims 1 with all its expansion packs in such a way that it's ready to go after just running its short setup (NOT START.EXE!) i know a lot of youtubers have made videos of their own with tutorials on how to play this specific upload, but i guarantee you, trying to mod the game to play it at higher resolutions, framerates or etc, WILL break the game in some form, at the time it was an unstable game as all sims games tend to be, play it and follow the instructions i kindly wrote in the description, because i can guarantee it works since that's how i personally play the game.

don't use the sim.exe 1080p it has Malware in it I check with virus total and is said it had malware and internet archive dose not check for virus at all.

I'm at the part where you have to double click on "start.exe" and I'm unable to put in the CD code cause I'm not getting to the screen where I can. It's saying I need to insert Disc 1 to continue. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

If you have PCem installed on this PC and installed Windows 98 then you can install Sims 1 on Windows 98 and of course you will need to patch this game for this to work properly?

It means you don't have enough space on your computer. Duh.

Everytime i go to start.exe, It tells me: Sorry, there's not enough disk space free on. 3600 MB are required and only 0 MB are free.
Can anyone solve this problem?

If someone can help me with a couple of issues. I had downloaded this to play this and when I went to put the patch in the sims folder, it wont let me replace it with the crack. It'll just tell me that it cant replace it and put a shortcut to the desktop. I am running Windows 11.

I'm just posting a suggestion to people who can't run the game. I suggest using a virtual machine program to run the game, such as "VirtualBox" (Completely Free) or "VMware Workstation Pro" (Requires Purchase). (Warning, programs require original operating system CD/disks such as Windows XP CD or other similar operating systems to work. If you don't have any, look on this site for a working copy or even MSN is offering free Windows XP ISO for personal use.)

Using one of the virtual programs, you can install a working operating system as well as play older games that can't normally be played on Windows 10. "The Sims" game will work perfectly using "VirtualBox". Hope this helps.

I hope someone will be able to help, I installed everything correctly using the recent tutorial on Pleasant Sims' YouTube channel. Even though I've done everything right but when I start the game I can't see my cursor and I can't see what I'm clicking, then when I start playing a household everything's white apart from the UI and occasionally the things I hover over.
