Poor management
Server (Current Employee) - Sevierville, TN - April 21, 2024
Management is only concerned about themselves. They sit in the office all day while you struggle to work out front alone. Only concerned when corporate comes around. Servers are always late or don’t even show up for shifts at all and you are expected to stay for there convenance. Entire kitchen quit. Managers looking at the recipe books to cook some food half way. Nothing good to say about how this store is run!!

Game Technician (Former Employee) - Springdale, OH - April 19, 2024
No clear order in management, very unorganized and uncaring for its employees situations. Favors favoritism and doesn't allow for growth. Cruel managers and crueler GM.

Great Place to work
AOM Manager (Former Employee) - Hanover, MD - April 18, 2024
I love working here. This was one of the best jobs that I have had. It was a pleasure learning and growing with this team. Also, it was a lot of team effort morale at this company. As a manager, we were able to play the games free of charge. We weren’t able to redeem tickets for prizes but playing the games were fun enough. Also, food company wide (minus alcohol of course) up to $250 a month. It definitely came with great perks. If you are looking for growth, all you have to do is open your mouth and someone will be willing to help you with whatever you want to know s
Pros
Vacation Time
Cons
Closes @2:00am

A lot of drama; not good management
food runner/ host/ keyholder (Current Employee) - Buffalo, NY - April 14, 2024
I’ve worked here for a few years and have nothing by issues. They don’t pay good at all and I do just about everything. I am finally about to leave because I am sick of it and they let other employees do what they please with terrible management all the way around the whole store.
Pros
None
Cons
A lot

Great
Busser (Former Employee) - Panama City Beach, FL - April 14, 2024
Working at Dave and Buster's as a busser was a great experience. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and the team was very friendly and supportive. I learned a lot about customer service and time management. Even though I've been told that now (2024) it's not the best place for J1 people.

Fun but poor management
Hostess (Former Employee) - Folsom, CA - April 12, 2024
Constantly over staffed so 3 hours into an 8 hr shift you would be cut was scheduled for 40+ hrs but was only getting around 20hrs lost a ton money. Host don’t get tipped out at the Folsom location. The management team did not communicate with one another leading our team to be constantly confused about how we should be doing our jobs. But fun perks with free power card and 50% off food.

Good Place to Start
Lead Game Attendant (Current Employee) - Grapevine, TX - April 10, 2024
My personal experience with Main Event/Dave & Busters is that they have a good work environment, considerate management, work drama is kept to a minimum. The only issue I have with the place is low pay

Pretty fun and easy
Server (Current Employee) - Pelham, NY - April 5, 2024
I would say your coworkers make the job, they are the true fun. The job isn't stressful depending on your position. Of course, it gets crowded so people get upset at the servers alot.
Pros
Free food
Cons

Fun coworkers but so so management
Winner's Circle (Former Employee) - Providence, RI - April 2, 2024
If you’re looking for something generally easy for good pay then this is the job. I would consider this a good first job if you have never worked before you’ll learn real fast but if you have job experience already you will see the holes in the “family” fast.

Such a great work experience and such fond memories of my time here.
Deposit Operations Specialist (Former Employee) - Jacksonville, FL - April 1, 2024
My time at D&B was the most fun I've ever had at a job to this day. I started at the front desk as customer service and somehow ended up doing bookkeeping before I left due to my residential relocation out of town. It can get pretty busy during the nights and weekends but throughout the day we were the most goofy, light hearted crew ever. I may be seeing through rose tinted glasses but I miss that place and if I could go back in time, I wouldn't change a thing. 10/10.

Bad
Game circle (Former Employee) - Gainesville - March 27, 2024
To anyone considering employment at this establishment, I urge you to reconsider. The management’s practices are inconsistent, and you may find yourself in a similar unfair situation. It’s disheartening to leave a job for doing what I believed was right, but I hope my experience serves as a warning to others.⬤
